My name is Lee Elton and together with Sgt David Bannister we run this particular branch of the V.P.C. Why not come and look around our  site. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to phone or email me,(westminstervpc@hotmail.co.uk). I will get back to you as soon as possible.

At Westminster V.P.C.

We go & take part in:-   Assisting Police and other Agencies at low level events,

Outward Bound/Week End excursions, Orienteering, Charity Events,

Visits to New Scotland Yard & other Police Units, Sports Competitions against other Cadets Units.

We also run a Duke of Edinburgh's Awards Scheme

The Award scheme can be completed within the Cadets and will provide you with Certificates & Awards which you can use on CV's and Job Applications.

Whilst we are a Police Cadet Corps. You do not have to have an interest in joining the Police to join the Cadets. Some cadets come along purely for the social side.

However if you are interested in joining The Met this is a great way to get an early insight into the service whilst having some fun as well. And Fun is the name of the game. Being a Police Cadet Corps we do have rules and regulations that have to be adhered to, but the main ethos of the unit is to ensure that Cadets have fun and enjoy themselves whilst hopefully learning something as well.

There is a uniform issued, although we require a couple of months commitment from new cadets before ordering this as it costs upwards of £190, (This is paid for by the Police not you). However most weeks we meet in plain clothes and the atmosphere is fairly informal and easy going.

Interested? Aged between 14 & 19 years old? Then you can take part in these and more by joining the

Brent Volunteer Police Cadets.
